GENERAL QUESTIONS

(Pronounced “zhee-clay,” the word giclee is French for “to spray.”) Giclee prints stand apart with their extremely high level of quality, longevity, and value compared to a mass-produced print. When done authentically, as we do, it is the closest reproduction printing method possible to match an original artwork. We craft every piece of art in our workshop using the same ink, paper, and printing techniques used by museums all over the world.

Unfortunately we don’t. At Musée Joli, we deeply value the artists and pieces in our collection. It's an honor for us to share their artwork with the world through our prints. We believe that every piece of art deserves to be treated with the utmost care and respect. We don’t feel that producing them on an office printer does them justice. Instead, we carefully select premium papers, high-quality inks, and employ a meticulous printing process to create prints that are as close to the original artwork as possible.

Yes! We work closely with an artisanal workshop. We propose a selection of quality frames, each carefully chosen to work perfectly with each print. We attach great importance to doing all our framing in the Philippines.

We have all the equipment to do it. However, we are careful about the quality and copyright of our prints. If you have a special request, or if you are a professional (restaurant, hotel, resorts owner…)  contact us by email at nelson@museejoli.com to discuss it.

Our workshop being in our house, it is not possible at the moment. However, we often participate in fairs and bazaars all around Metro Manila. Follow us on Instagram @museejoli so you don't miss any information. We will be happy to meet you and share our passion.
